RESEARCH PROBLEM AND SIGNIFICANCE
The HRM practices like training and development, job design and productivity, quality circle, recruitment, selection, manpower planning, productivity, pay system have an impact on the organizational performance. There were studies conducted by different authors of different countries on impact of HRM practices on organizational performance in different sectors. The researcher would like to understand the impact of HRM practices on performance of employees in banking industry of Bahrain. This will help the administrators to understand the effectiveness of HRM in the organization. Human resource management practices have played an important role in the present competitive world. The study would help all the stakeholders to understand the effectiveness of HRM system. Thus a study on the impact of HRM practices on the organizational performance was undertaken.
RESEARCH QUESTIONS AND OBJECTIVES
